Arc fault breakers
Arc fault breakers, also know as arc fault circuit interrupters, are designed to detect arching in electrical outlets and electrical switches and once an arc has been detected will stop the flow of electrical current to avoid electrical shock.  Arc fault breakers are often required and installed in new home construction and when upgrading your home’s electrical panel.
